The Globe Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Seton Catholic Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Globe was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Miami on Wednesday. Globe blew past Miami 20-3. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Sir Sneezy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Corban Bejarano, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024. Tyson Reede also deserves some recognition as he hit his first doubles of the season.
Globe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.6.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 20-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.
Brady Stephenson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
On the hitting side, P.J. Rafford and Jax Minnis did most of the damage at the plate: Rafford got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Minnis scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jason Ruiz, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Seton Catholic pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Globe, their record is now 5-7.
