On Saturday, North County Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against First Baptist Academy, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for North County Christian.
Lynus Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of North County Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendrick Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
North County Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for First Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
North County Christian and Heartland Christian Academy will face off at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Heartland Christian Academy is ranked 483rd, while North County Christian is ranked 473rd). As for First Baptist Academy, First Baptist Academy and Westfair Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
