Bennett Roberts Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Gentry's Bennett Roberts, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Roberts made ten total tackles, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 68 yards.
This year, Roberts has averaged 9.4 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 45 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 112.8 rushing yards.

On Friday, Gravette got the W thanks in part to Jacob Gaylord playing the best football he has all season. Gaylord rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Gaylord is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Huntsville on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Gaylord saw the Eagles), he rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Holmes Came Up Big in Gravette's 49-8 Win
Gabriel Holmes's big game helped extend Gravette's winning streak to five on Friday. Green Forest had no answer to Holmes as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Holmes is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Holmes might just drop another big game when he faces off against Huntsville on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Holmes saw the Eagles), he threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 56 yards.

Kayden Brown Delivers Electric Effort Vs Green Forest
Gravette picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kayden Brown. Brown was unstoppable, picking up 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 37 yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 76 yards.
This season, Brown has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 72.6 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 44.6 receiving yards per game.

Aidan Eller Makes It Two for Gentry
