The Woburn Memorial Tanners will take on the Marblehead Magicians on Friday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Woburn Memorial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Shepherd Hill Regional as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. The Tanners not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since October 3rd (when they won  3-0).
 Woburn Memorial never let Shepherd Hill Regional on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-10,  25-13.
  Lauren Snyder was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had nine  assists and three  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  over her last nine  matchups.
Meanwhile, Marblehead entered their tilt with Swampscott on Thursday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Big Blue by a score of  3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 8, 2021, but that streak is no more.
 The  win didn't come easy: Swampscott scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 22-25,  29-27.
Woburn Memorial better keep an eye on  Erin Wilder. She was instrumental in Marblehead's win,  getting 31 assists and ten  digs.
 Marblehead  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in 11 consecutive  contests.
 Marblehead's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Woburn Memorial, they now  have a winning record of 11-10.
 Woburn Memorial couldn't quite get it done against Marblehead in their previous meeting  back in September as they fell  3-1. Can the Tanners avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
