Colorado Academy blew past Eagle Ridge Academy 59-35. The victory was familiar territory for Colorado Academy who now have three in a row.
Leading Colorado Academy to victory were Clyde Love and Simeon Woldeyohannes. Love scored 14 points, while Woldeyohannes scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Woldeyohannes has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Bratis, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Eagle Ridge Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Wanrow. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. Wanrow has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Isaiah Garcia was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Colorado Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game.
