The Yazoo City Indians were the 57-50 winner over the Greenville Hornets when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. Yazoo City fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 33-31. Yazoo City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Greenville's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Coriyonna Brown, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tykeria McCullum, who scored eight points.
Yazoo City has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season. As for Greenville, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Yazoo City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greenville also has no future games currently scheduled.
