Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Caden Andreas and Matthew Ehlers Lead Ridgeline to Victory

There's no place like home for Ridgeline, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over the Shadle Park Highlanders on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Ridgeline was led to victory by Matthew Ehlers and Caden Andreas. Ehlers went 7 for 11 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds, while Andreas went 6 of 11 on his way to 21 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Andreas is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jack Pell, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

With the win, Ridgeline broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Shadle Park, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Ridgeline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-63 victory against Moses Lake on the 21st. As for Shadle Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-54 loss against Lakeland on the 27th.
