The Thurgood Marshall Cougars's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They took down Trotwood-Madison 64-45. The win was just what Thurgood Marshall needed coming off of a 68-38 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Thurgood Marshall to victory were Ma?kayla Williams and Morganne Postell. Williams dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Postell scored 22 points along with five assists and three steals. The matchup was Williams' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Samarra Gibson, who scored five points along with seven assists and five steals.
The win got Thurgood Marshall back to even at 5-5. As for Trotwood-Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Thurgood Marshall is on the road again on Thursday and play against Stivers School for the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. Stivers School for the Arts is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Trotwood-Madison will take on Mt. Healthy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
