After a string of four wins, the Oak Creek Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 50-43 to Kettle Moraine. Oak Creek has struggled against Kettle Moraine recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Hanson, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Schmidt, who scored ten points.
Oak Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Kettle Moraine, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Creek will face off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indian Trail will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Oak Creek is ranked 63rd). As for Kettle Moraine, they will head out on the road to face off against Muskego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
