The North Central Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 52-28 loss at the hands of St. Paul. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Central has scored all season.
Jackson Hallock and Kol Otten certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hallock dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Otten scored nine points. Hallock scored a full 35.7% of North Central's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
North Central has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for St. Paul, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Central will take on Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Scotus at 7:30 p.m. Scotus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
