The Milton Red Hawks will challenge the Mukwonago Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Milton knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Mukwonago likes a good challenge.
Milton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over Baraboo on Thursday. Considering the Red Hawks have won six games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Ben Schultz tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landon Schwarz, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Easton Agnew, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Milton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Mukwonago came up short against Muskego on Thursday, falling 9-3. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mukwonago saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braedon Paczocha, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Isaac Teisl also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Milton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Mukwonago, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Milton came out on top in a nail-biter against Mukwonago in their previous meeting back in June of 2022, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
