The Williams Bulldogs's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-39 win over Northeast Guilford. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williams also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Williams was led to victory by Sam Rhodes and Brian Williams. Rhodes scored 11 points, while Williams scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Amarion Richmond, who scored eight points.
Williams is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Northeast Guilford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williams on the road again on Friday and play against Southern Alamance at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Northeast Guilford, they will take on Eastern Guilford at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Guilford is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
