Inspired Vision is 0-3 against Life Oak Cliff since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Inspired Vision EAGLES will head out on the road to challenge the Life Oak Cliff Lions at 7:30 p.m. Inspired Vision will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1426th, while Life Oak Cliff is ranked 624th).
Inspired Vision won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. Their rough 47-27 loss to Village Tech might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Inspired Vision has scored all season.
Tyree Sheffield put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 17 points. That was a full 63% of Inspired Vision's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Life Oak Cliff had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They secured a 57-51 W over Village Tech.
Inspired Vision's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 7-16. As for Life Oak Cliff, their win bumped their record up to 20-9.
Things could have been worse for Inspired Vision, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-56 loss to Life Oak Cliff in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Inspired Vision avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
