Denmark posted their closest win since March 24th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the North Forsyth Raiders 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 9-6 win last Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Luke Althardt, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Denmark's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-11. As for North Forsyth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
