Brady Jay Goes Supernova in Moses Lake Win
Starting off the list is Moses Lake's Brady Jay, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jay threw for 400 yards and six touchdowns while completing 79.1% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
The victory (which was Moses Lake's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Jay and Moses Lake will be playing in front of their home fans against Post Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Grant Smith Leads Moses Lake over Eisenhower
On Friday, Moses Lake got the W thanks in part to Grant Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith wasn't messing around, picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The game was his third straight with two or more receiving touchdowns dating back to last season.
On the year, Smith has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 94.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.4 receiving yards per game.

Austin Zelinski Turns in Season-Best Performance
Eastmont was led to victory by Austin Zelinski, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Zelinski rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
Eastmont pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Zelinski and Eastmont will square off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bodie Yale Delivers Best Effort of Season
Eastmont was led to victory by Bodie Yale, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Yale rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Wenatchee, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Yale. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Yale saw the Panthers), he rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Peyton Zelinski Leads Eastmont over Wenatchee
Eastmont was led to victory by Peyton Zelinski, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Zelinski rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
On the season, Zelinski has averaged 48.6 passing yards per game.
