Make it seven blowout wins for the Cromwell Cardinals this season. They blew past Ogilvie 81-45 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Cromwell has posted since December 7, 2023.
It was another big night for Isabella Anderson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Emaleigh Olesiak was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Cromwell has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Ogilvie, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cromwell will take on McGregor at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. McGregor has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Ogilvie won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pine City at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in Pine City's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
