Sam Powell Turns in Season-Best Performance
Golden Gate was led to victory by Sam Powell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Powell threw for 395 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 40 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.

On the year, Altine has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 135 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging ten rushing yards per game.

Immokalee Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jayden Mixon
Immokalee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jayden Mixon. Nobody could stop Mixon as he rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns.
Mixon might have his next game, a home matchup with Palmetto Ridge, circled on his calendar. When Mixon last faced the Bears back in October of 2023, he rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
