Rison are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Strong on Friday at 7:00 PM. Rison will be hoping to build upon the 31-8 win they picked up against Strong the last time they played.
Rison were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the matchup and then some with a 41-6 win last week over Brinkley. The success made it back-to-back wins for Rison.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Strong weren't quite Lakeside's equal in the second half when they met. Strong came up short against Lakeside, falling 6-20. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Strong.
Rison's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Strong's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Rison's success rolls on or if Strong are able to steal their positive momentum.
