Ta'john Royster Turns in Season-Best Effort
Ta'John Royster produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East to the win on Friday. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the sixth in a row for East, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Royster and East will take on Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Brock Came Up Big in Linden-Mckinley's 38-10 Victory
Davell Brock's big game helped extend Linden-McKinley's winning streak to four on Friday. Brock turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Linden-McKinley's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. Brock and Linden-McKinley will venture away from home to challenge Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Northland Gets a Boost from Harrison in 58-6 Victory
Northland found a leader in Akeilles Harrison as the squad took down Mifflin on Friday. Mifflin had no answer to Harrison as he threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards.
Northland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Harrison and Northland will take on Whetstone at 6:50 p.m. on Friday.

Aaron Britford's big game helped extend East's winning streak to six on Friday. Britford was unstoppable, rushing for 125 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
