Scotland may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will go up against Cardinal Gibbons in continuing playoff action on Friday. The Fighting Scots earned some more postseason success in their game last Friday. They took their contest against South View 28-18. Kyshaun Galberth had a stellar game for Scotland as he rushed for 158 yards and two TDs on 22 carries.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Cardinal Gibbons against New Bern as the squad secured a 42-7 win. With Cardinal Gibbons ahead 25 to nothing at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Scotland got away with a 7-6 win when the two teams last met in last November. Their victory shoved Cardinal Gibbons out of the playoffs, so expect the team to have a target on their back in this one.
