Farwell hasn't had much luck against Shepherd recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Bluejays at 4:00 p.m.
Harrison hit Farwell with a five-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell 9-6 to the Hornets.

Mason Esterline made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Farwell is 2-1 when Esterline posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Sholes, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Shepherd had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sharks as they made off with a 16-1 victory.
Brady Robinson made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Robinson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Shepherd got a massive performance out of Michael Pung, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Pung a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tristin Fisher, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Shepherd always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Louis only posted an OBP of .421.
Shepherd's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Farwell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
Farwell suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Shepherd in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
