Citrus Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jordyn Harris, who picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Dawson Martinez, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, San Juan Hills stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past St. Francis 38-17. Given San Juan Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while St. Francis is ranked 92nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
San Juan Hills found their leader in underclassman Timmy Herr, who threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Jason Robinson Jr., who gained 67 total yards and two touchdowns.
Citrus Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for San Juan Hills, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
