INGLESIDE, Texas - the Mustangs scored 29 points in the second quarter to secure a big 42-0 victory over Jones (Beeville, Texas) on Saturday.
Ingleside scored on a defensive touchdown, a
Tristen Barajas touchdown run, a Barajas touchdown pass to
Jd Rodriguez and a touchdown run by
Christopher McGlaun in the quarter.
The lead that IHS took on a Gross touchdown run with 7:00 to go in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
The Mustangs also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 58-38.
With the win Ingleside extended its winning streak to three games. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Trojans.
