The power rankings welcomes a newcomer to the scene as Post Falls earned the 25th spot after its strong showing last week. It got a somewhat close 42 - 37 victory over Skyview. The Skyview defense has struggled this season (giving up an average of 37 points per game), and Post Falls took advantage of that.
Can't Touch This
Idaho Falls's 33 - 14 win over Twin Falls last week had a lot to do with the leadership of senior Cameron Conrad. Conrad ran for 290 yards and also punched in one touchdown. In fact, our algorithms singled out Conrad as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.
This Week's Big Showdown
The clash of the power ranking titans last week was between Borah (11th in the power rankings) and Capital (18th). Borah earned a pretty comfortable 42 - 27 victory over Capital. The win boosted Borah a satisfying ten spots in the power rankings.
Look Out Below
After a challenging last week, Lewiston now finds itself down three power ranking positions. No one has a better right to be disappointed since that was the biggest drop of the week. It suffered a painful 38 - 6 defeat to Eagle. The fight Lewiston demonstrated in its 41 - 7 win the game before seemed replaced by lethargy in this one.
