Basketball Recap: Prairie Gets the Win

If Peetz wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Prairie, they should've done a better job of containing Hannah Kugler. The Mustangs strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 56-38 thanks in part to Kugler, who dropped a double-double with 35 points and 12 boards. Her morning made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The win got Prairie back to even at 1-1. As for Peetz, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Prairie and Peetz will both be playing Lone Star the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Longhorns at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
