Prior Lake waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Rosemount Irish. For the Lakers, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 win the Irish walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Prior Lake's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Rosemount, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prior Lake is set to take on their familiar foe Lakeville South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lakers 2.7, the Cougars 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Rosemount will challenge rival Shakopee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
