Kynadee Britton and Makaela Ullman were among the main playmakers for Sissonville as the former scored 18 points along with six steals and the latter scored 22 points along with five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Britton has scored at least 25% of Sissonville's points. Makinley Britton was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Nicholas County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Summers County on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 42-36 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Nicholas County.
Nicholas County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrienne Truman out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Truman's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tateny Mylott, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Sissonville pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Nicholas County, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Keep an eye on the arc in Thursday's matchup: Sissonville have been dynamite from deep this season, having only nailed 31.3% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Nicholas County, though, as they've only made 33.6% of their threes per game this season. Given Sissonville's sizeable advantage in that area, Nicholas County will need to find a way to close that gap.
