Mount Calvary Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Covenant Christian Academy 82-41 at home. Mount Calvary Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Avery Kopcha, who shot 6-for-12 from long range and dropped a double-double on 41 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mount Calvary Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Masters, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Coventry Christian earned a 51-43 win over Valley Forge Military Academy on Thursday.
Mount Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Coventry Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7.
