When it comes to explaining why San Tan Charter lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Zayden Neill. Despite the final result, he threw for 327 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Neill hasn't dropped below 300 passing yards for three straight games. Uriah Neloms also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Pima's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tuddy Smart, who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Blair, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown.
San Tan Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Pima, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
