The Natrona County Mustangs were the 47-40 winner over the Lyman Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Natrona County took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lyman on Friday. Natrona County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lyman had a senior duo take command as BriLee Bradshaw scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and four steals and Ashtyn Wells scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Owen Hansen, who scored five points along with three steals.
Natrona County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lyman, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Natrona County and Mountain View will face off at 8:40 a.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lyman's road trip will continue as they head out to face Riverton at 1:40 p.m. on December 15th. Riverton is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
