John Mobley Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 31 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Fischer Brown, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 0 assists.
Wasatch Academy pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.4 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 35 of their last 40 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 401-1460-2 record this season.
Wasatch Academy will take on Sunrise Christian Academy at TBD on Thursday. One thing working in Wasatch Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-38 win vs. Jefferson County Christian on the 9th.
