If South Loup wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mullen, they should've done a better job of containing Kalli Licking. The Broncos came out on top against South Loup by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Licking, who had 14 assists and nine digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 32 times she's played.

Mullen easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

The win (which was Mullen's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. As for South Loup, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullen will face off against Hay Springs on Friday. As for South Loup, they will challenge Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
