Pine Hill is 9-1 against Northwest since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pine Hill Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Northwest Falcons at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pine Hill has six straight victories, Northwest has 13 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Pine Hill can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-32 victory over Ramah on the road.
Brett Baker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Channing James, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northwest managed to keep up with Tse' Yi' Gai until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Northwest's tough 63-43 defeat to Tse' Yi' Gai might stick with them for a while.
Pine Hill pushed their record up to 14-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
Everything came up roses for Pine Hill against Northwest in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 78-18 victory. Will Pine Hill repeat their success, or does Northwest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
