After soaring to 61 points the game before, the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt a 56-20 defeat at the hands of Wolsey-Wessington. Sunshine Bible Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.
Trey Thieman was Sunshine Bible Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Thieman held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
Wolsey-Wessington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Moshe Richmond out in front who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Richmond hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Peyton Rainford, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Sunshine Bible Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunshine Bible Academy will take on the at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Non Varsity Opponent will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Wolsey-Wessington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Wildkats at 8:00 p.m.
