Founders Classical Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 52-41 victory over the Lifegate Christian Falcons. Given the Hoplites' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Falcons are ranked 1133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Founders Classical Academy pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Lifegate Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Founders Classical Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Varsity Opponent at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Lifegate Christian, they will take on Bracken Christian in a tournament on Friday.
