Summit lost a close one when they played  last Friday but unfortunately for them the  loss they were handed on  on Monday was a bit more commanding. Their  tough  13-2 defeat to the Nolensville Knights  might stick with them for a while. Summit has struggled against Nolensville recently, as their  match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Summit saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ashlyn Easley, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases.
 On Nolensville's side,  Madison Creasman spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on six hits. Creasman has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Jaycee Bilbrey was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sydney Dickinson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Summit's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Nolensville, the  victory was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2-1.
 Summit will head out on the road to  square off against  Franklin at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Nolensville, they will be playing at home against Centennial at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
