There's no place like home for Freeport, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Lewiston Blue Devils on Friday as the Freeport Falcons made off with a 47-21 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Falcons have posted since December 28, 2023.

Freeport's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lewiston, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Freeport Falcons challenge the Mt. Ararat Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lewiston and Bangor will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
