It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Rosemont Wolverine can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Twelve Bridges on Thursday, falling 67-25. Rosemont was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-19.
When it comes to explaining why Rosemont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Cherry. Despite the final result, he rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. Cherry has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twelve Bridges to victory, but perhaps none more so than Whit Kruse, who threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Rodriguez, who picked up 112 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Rosemont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Twelve Bridges, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Rosemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Twelve Bridges will take on Los Banos at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Los Banos is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
