Hale Ray put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by  a  9-1 margin over the Middletown Blue Dragons. This was payback for the Noises, who suffered  an  8-4  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Lily Jahne made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Maggie Janecek and  Faith Kalisz did most of the damage at the plate:  Janecek  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI, while  Kalisz  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
Hale Ray pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average this season.
