New Creation Christian Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 47  points  last Friday, they were much more limited against Community Christian  on Friday. They were dealt  a  41-8 defeat at the hands of the Knights.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Young Americans Christian). They claimed a resounding  50-6 win over Hearts Academy. With the Eagles ahead  34-6 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
Young Americans Christian's win came from a few key players New Creation Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Dylan Simmonds, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one  touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ben Allen, who threw for 93 yards and one  TD.
 Young Americans Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 211  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
 Young Americans Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Gabe Campbell and  Mason Sigur. Young Americans Christian got some further help from  Lucas Fantauzzi: he forced one fumble and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
 Young Americans Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for New Creation Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
 New Creation Christian Academy was dealt a bruising  48-7 defeat at the hands of Young Americans Christian in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024. Can the Crusaders avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
