Those  two  RBI gave  Coalson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Degan Williams, who  went 2-for-5 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Independence has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.2 runs over those games.
