Palmyra have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Maple Shade on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Palmyra will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Palmyra took their match against Riverside two weeks ago by a conclusive 46-12 score. Palmyra were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Maple Shade might be getting used to good results now that the squad have three wins in a row. They took their game against Clayton last Friday 41-29.
Their wins bumped Maple Shade to 3-2 and Palmyra to 2-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Palmyra and Maple Shade will really light up the scoreboard.
