Charlottesville had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 40-point drubbing they dealt George Washington on Monday. The Charlottesville Black Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the George Washington Eagles 76-36. The Black Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Charlottesville, bringing their record for this year to 15-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for George Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Charlottesville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Monticello at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlottesville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Monticello likes a good challenge. As for George Washington, they and Martinsville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
