Bellevue never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Covington Latin on Saturday. They blew past the Trojans 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win snapped Bellevue's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-14 record. As for Covington Latin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Bellevue will face off against Ludlow at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covington Latin, they will square off against Robertson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.92 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
