Centerville has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Bishop Hartley Hawks at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Hartley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Centerville, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, Centerville beat Wayne 54-42. Given Centerville's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Wayne is ranked 256th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bishop Hartley suffered a tough 63-39 loss at the hands of Mechanicsburg on Saturday. Bishop Hartley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Centerville's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bishop Hartley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
