The home team had won the previous eight meetings between Moorhead and Bemidji, and Moorhead kept the tradition alive. The Spuds were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Lumberjacks on Tuesday. Considering the Spuds have won eight games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Moorhead is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Bemidji, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
