If the Eisenhower Eagles were riding high off their 46-18 takedown of the Dekaney Wildcats last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Eisenhower took a hard 50-31 fall against Westfield on Tuesday. Eisenhower was down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Eisenhower had strong showings from Genesis Watson, who scored ten points along with two steals, and Keiora Gaines, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Watson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.
Eisenhower has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which is still a better percentage than their 7-23 record this season. As for Westfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.
Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
