Lincoln County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fairfield/Augusta 32-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with Fairfield/Augusta recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Lincoln County to victory were Rogan Lytle and Josh Lambertsen. Lytle threw for 144 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes, while Lambertsen gained 134 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Lambertsen racked up 76 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.
