Even though the Drummond Trojans have not done well against the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Drummond secured a 32-26 W over Seeley-Swan. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Drummond.
Drummond was led to victory by Kimber Parsons and Remington Cline. Parsons scored 11 points along with seven steals and five assists, while Cline dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 steals. Cline hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games.
Drummond's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Seeley-Swan, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Drummond won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Powell County at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th. Powell County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Seeley-Swan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Victor at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
