Lighthouse Christian got a massive performance out of Braxton Goswick, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Goswick has posted since back in March. Jacob Herbert was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Lighthouse Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
St. Louis HomeSchool P came out on top against Lighthouse Christian thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Patriots blew past the Chargers 11-1.
Samuel Hart spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because St. Louis HomeSchool P is 10-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 16-17 otherwise.
